L.E. according to wikipedia he is the author of the book The Franklin Cover-up: Child Abuse, Satanism, and Murder in Nebraska. I don't have any opinions on him, I don't care about his person.
the point I'm making is that things that fit the criteria for the article you posted do not determine whether something is a "conspiracy theory". What I'm doing is pointing out that the term you are throwing around was invented by the CIA for purposes of defusing investigations. The only thing that determines what a "conspiracy theory" is or was, is the passing of time in relation to whether evidence lines up. The Franklin scandal was largely considered a conspiracy theory, and yet paul bonacci was awarded 1 million dollars in light of his statements being corroborated. Furthermore, those who spoke out about MKUltra were considered conspiracy theorists, but it is now accepted and common knowledge that MKUltra is very real and originated with the CIA.
I remember the days when the not-for-profit news media was all up in arms about how 20/20-type shows were going to ruin the world with their "newstertainement" style. They were right, I guess.

In 5 years the word journalist will mean "person who writes illegal content."

and in 5 years we'll be reminded that there was once a time when "fake news" wasn't synonymous with "main stream media".
