this is one topic that is a no no on twitter. My best friend was suspended over this last night and so have others. Must have hit a nerve. And I am also staring to wonder about Jack.
Q: What was the main draw of Twitter in it's early days?
A: Celebrity accounts where fans could engage directly with their idols, and follow their regular updates.
Somebody, somewhere made that happen. Made sure a critical mass of celebs adopted the platform soon enough for it to become viable and valuable. Probably also made sure some well-timed scandal or buzz-event accompanied this migration from other PR broadcasting sources, and limited the key breaking news elements to first-hand tweets, so the MSM was forced or able to direct public attention, and so many new users, to this "exciting new platform" where the news happens in real time, straight from the horse's mouth!
Jack didn't get lucky. Jack made a deal. Jack, at the very least, owes some big big favors. Jack is now being called upon to honor those favors. Even if doing so destroys the platform.
It is so obvious that they have some sort of think tank that decides what stupid stuff to make trend and when, in order to control the people who are sheep.
