If you read the court docs & know what happened, you will see that Acosta had this case basically taken out of his hands by the DOJ. Judge sealed the court docs. Acosta was the prosecuting attorney, but he has a boss, the DOJ. I'm in law school, & currently work at the Federal Eastern District of LA. He had to listen to his boss.
Yeah this happened in 2007 guys. Acosta does not need to be confirmed whether or not he listened to his boss. But his boss at the time was not Jeff Sessions. My question is whether the non-prosecution agreement on the other charges was a condition of his plea agreement.

The attorney is actually Acosta. Trump's nominee for Labor Secretary. WTF?

Does that mean Jeff Sessions is his boss?
