I feel a little dense - I was wondering how bone fragments got through a septic system to end up in a tank. You are correct, of course. Thanks for setting me straight.

I'm hoping they died natural deaths and the home was just too cheap and depraved to give them proper burial. But it looks pretty bad in any case.
