About a month ago there was a story on the local TV news. 3 adult men were arrested for having sex with boys, while the men were dressed in animal costumes. The men called themselves "Furries". The weirdness of the story caught my attention, but equally weird was the nonchalant attitude of the reporter. "Furries"!? Turns out, after a brief search, I found out that this is a thing. A similar arrest was made in the Philadelphia area with another group of sickos like that.
Jesus people. It's like a goddam epidemic.
I remember that story. What shocked me was that two of them looked familiar, but I'm in Illinois and worked with a company that has nothing to do with Pennsylvania and that's where I swear I saw one regularly and another occasionally. But I'm still struck by how familiar their faces are to me. Paranoia? Could be. It's easy to get swept up in this. I think Pennsylvania is a hub.
