So since he was living in Arkansas and was arrested in Haiti for abusing children I dug deeper.

He has been arrested before and it seems no one had a good idea of exactly why he was arrested. They even used the excuse that he bumped in to someone in a hotel room

He was then released after being jailed for 5 months.

Mentioned in some of the articles are associations with Joy in Hope. It looks like during the first arrest when they removed him from leadership they didn't give a good reason either.

After what the Board of Directors decided to be a series of “irreconcilable breaches of trust” (I am tired of that expression, but it’s all I can give you now) with Danny Pye, he was removed from a leadership capacity in Joy in Hope/Haitian Children's Home. This occurred August 29, 2010.

It really looks like Joy in Hope was going through something more than just a guy getting arrested without cause if you read the rest of the post.
