I don't agree with the reasoning for Eyes Wide Shut. Stanley Kubrick kept this movie a total secret. Cruz and Kidman had secrecy in their contracts. He made the movie in London while it takes place in NYC. Then Stanley died a strange quick cancerous death three weeks later. Read up on the making of the movie. Stanley was not one of them but told the sick stories in a way some just didn't understand. Like Clockwork Orange.
