i have been a non-stop lurker following PG closely but it has only been the DS bullshit which actually inspires me to comment. watching him implode has become a guilty pleasure.
Totally. At the very beginning (right around the time of the election) I would defend him because he was actually serving a purpose - he had heightened visibility on YouTube and thus, a veneer of respectability as a "journalist". However, it quickly became apparent that he was just parroting the same few talking points over and over again -- in the most annoying, long-winded, droning way possible. Seriously, his videos are like suffering a slow painful death the way he goes on and on and on. He's a legend in his own mind, finding it necessary to point out in every video how many YouTube subscribers he has or whatever his accomplishments were/are. As an MD myself, although I would never try to seriously psychoanalyze or diagnose someone that I haven't personally treated and assessed one-on-one, I greatly suspect that Seaman is very much on the Asperger's end of the autism spectrum. His behavior also suggests that he likely has comorbidity with one of several possible schizoaffective disorders; the delusions of grandeur + insistence on repeatedly exaggerating his claims/his own importance, role in "investigating" (he hasn't investigated shit) and the overall general detachment with which he presents, his general affect, etc. makes me 100% convinced that he'd be at the very least incredibly annoying to be around in person and he undoubtedly has a very difficult time making friends and relating to people on a social level.
Apart from all of that, if it's not clear now to anyone that hasn't already seen it, it should be...this guy is a scumbag who has jumped onto the "bandwagon" of pizzagate to try and generate some type of notoriety out of it for himself. It's utterly sickening. I truly do believe with the utmost sincerity that Seaman is legitimately mentally ill, making it an even bigger negative for the PG community/investigation, in terms of 'optics', to have someone like him associated with it in such a public way.
ive definitley experienced the pointless ramblings for a while, and how he can make the most eventful/interesting stories incredibly boring, but im not so sure about the autism/Asperger approach?
