Calling it Satanism is like calling all of paganism Satanic. It's a gross simplification of religious iconography. The Anti-Christ of Revelations is a rebuke of the cult of the Roman emperors.
Anyone into Spirit Cooking left Satanism behind in high school. Read about the Devas and Asuras in Hinduism. Hermeticism is not Satanism, but it can be channeled towards evil.
I'm not calling paganism Satanic. I'm calling the number 666 Satanic, and that's not just me. That's Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/666_(number))). So if you don't think that it's not Satanic, then you're using a definition that isn't shared by most people, and I doubt that the spirit cooking crowd agrees with you.
We make fools of ourselves if we over-complicate it too. I don't think that her specific religion is nothing more complicated than "love Satan." But I think that, whatever convoluted occult belief system she has, it's fair to call in "Satanist" in the colloquial sense, as an umbrella term. Most people don't split hairs on this issue, like you do, and they shouldn't have to.
Here are some things I don't know:
what part of Spirit Cooking is real, and what part of it is art/show, and what part is advertising for illegal sex/drug/organ/child trades, and what part of it is MK-ULTRA brainwashing and torture? If MK-ULTRA, does it become real with second generation victims, and beyond, who grow up believing it?
same question for John Podesta and his cannibal picture in his office?
same question for Lynn Rothschild
same question for the Moloch email, the Minerva email, the Thelema email
Are these all the same cult? Or overlapping cults? I don't know.
I don't think we over-complicate this by calling it what it is. Colloquial meanings are loaded with dubious connotations. Traditional Christian terminology is way too simplistic here, unless you delve into Gnostic teachings.
AFAIK, real Satanists do not practice rituals in which they sacrifice children. Nothing in their religious texts gives them any incentive to inflict harm on other people. Satan in Satanism is akin to Lucifer/Light Bearer/Prometheus.
Modern Spirit Cooking is rooted in Hermetic and Gnostic creation myths about mankind. In some of these texts, alchemy is spoken of as a means of achieving divinity and coming closer to the twelve Archons and a being called Yaltabaoth.
In Gnosticism, Yaltabaoth feeds on souls that he catches in transit (in "the middle realm"), is fond of rape, and is generally the sort of God you would fear and loathe--the Old Testament sort who would inflict endless suffering on a man like Job. Gnostics see Yaltabaoth and Yahweh as one in the same.
Marina Abramovic and her followers think they are worshiping God, and they think he only shows himself to them if they perform these Spirit Cooking rituals (which may or may not have roots in MKUltra).
Nobody said anything about sacrificing children. We said that 666 is Satanist. The world generally regards Lucifer, Satan, and "the devil" as the same thing. If you see 666 and a pentagram, you are dealing with Satanism, and it doesn't matter whether kids are being sacrificed or not.
You say that "spirit cooking" is based on Hermetic and Gnostic creation myths - what is your source?

The 666 has Satanic associations but it's not like Satanism has the sole claim to it. We make fools of ourselves if we simplify any of this.
