I'll admit I may be suffering from confirmation bias but these double hearts, triangles, and swirls are all over adoption agency logos. A lot of those just seem to be hearts. It would make sense having a heart as part of an adoption logo.

Look again. They aren't "just hearts," they are heart-within-a heart, which is specific to "girl love."
