Did Trump ever mention stopping human trafficking as one of his campaign promises? I watched loads of his rallies but that issue wasn't spoken about from what I remember. That's why it's so encouraging that his administration is making a big deal of this now, only a month in to Trump's presidency, that it's the result of PizzaGate.
No, I think he kept it a secret on purpose. Only things close he did was allude to Haiti and 'something else' that politicians were paid for in campaign contributions that the AG would deal with. Very subtle. I'd say it would closely match with draining the swamp.
