The law was made to protect sex workers you fuckwit. They found that not just under aged, but all aged sex workers were racking up tons of arrests for prostitution and dis-proportionally low arrests for Johns and pimps. So, they figured the real victims should not be punished. HOWEVER, what this article does not address, is that the police can take the underage person, and put them into custody, and away from their pimp. They can take any steps to address the situation, as fucking a minor is illegal, and being a minor without a parent or guardian means you are placed into foster care or some other sort of supervision.

This article is the sort of "fake news" you guys are all hollering about. It takes a resolution aimed at protecting victims and the people against it turn it around to look like it does something vile.
