It's all certainly plausible. I think more plausible than we even know.
I haven't dug into the adrenochrome thing too much. I know what it is and the theory behind it. I honestly don't want to think about it. I think we will see more from Worldcorpo soon. Drip. Drip. Drip.
Adrenochrome, if you ask around, is supposedly made up by Hunter S. Thompson. He mentions it in his book. It is (allegedly) a substance that is derived from putting a victim through horrific torture and trauma, to build up as much fear/adrenaline as possible, and when the victim is killed, chemicals are released in the brain/blood that cause the victimizer to get high/stoned when they drink the victim's blood. Hunter Thompson always referred to the drug as being associated with Satanists.
It very well could be a real substance, as all of these Satanic Cults who perform sacrifices seem to drink the blood afterwards. I'm sure its all part of the ritualistic aspect of it, but there definitely could be a drug angle as well, and when they get high off the blood/chemicals, they think they're gaining "powers" from the victim.
