The former chairman of Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign, John Podesta, has joined The Washington Post as a contributing columnist, the paper announced on Thursday.
Podesta, who also served as chief of staff to President Bill Clinton and a counselor to President Barack Obama, has recently written two op-eds for the Post.
The first, published in December, was about the the FBI's investigation into Russian hacking of the Democratic National Committee. The second, published last week, was about President Donald Trump's penchant for dismissing all criticism of himself as "fake news."
The Post says Podesta's columns "will provide commentary and analysis on the intersection of politics and policy, the Trump administration and the future of the Democratic Party."
“No one knows more about how Washington works, how the White House operates, and how policy ideas are translated into reality than John Podesta,” said Editorial Page Editor Fred Hiatt in a statement. “His long experience in Congress, inside two Democratic White Houses and on the front lines of numerous presidential campaigns, will offer readers vital insight into Washington and politics at the start of a new era.”

I wonder if he'll write the kids or family section? If he does well, maybe he'll be taking over editor duties for "HIghlights for Kids." I don't know if you guys heard or not but he LOVES kids. Like, really really...

But JA says he doesn't like kids. He might be telling the truth. He might just be a supplier.

If he didn't dislike kids how would he hate fuck them?
YingYangMom ago
He hates them enough to not give a fuck about them OR enough to want to hurt them?

I'm sorry, I didn't mean Podesta (he def likes kids) ... I was talking about JA himself. He seemed like he really wanted to make a point that he doesn't like kids when he was texting with that Ryan guy. So my theory was that maybe JA is/was just a supplier, and that all the pedo stuff and imagery (the bands and the Instagram) was just him 'branding' himself as to what his role is/was.

Thats all part of his "culture".

JA is an enigma to me. I have never met him or been to his pizza place but I know guys like him. To me, he's a 'famous by association' kind of guy. He managed to get within the DC social circle and tag along with the big boys and made some friends while he was there. But he certainly didn't earn his place with the DC elite. So his involvement in any type of pedophile ring could be anywhere from nothing to a "full investor" or somewhere in between. He's such a loose cannon with an obvious ego problem I can't get a really good read.

He "earned" his place believe me! When your voted in Top 50 in DC and you spend birthdays, and Holidays with former or current WH chief of staff you earned it.
When you find your name in the WH visitor logs & photos of you in Cuba pop up you earned it.
HarveyKlinger ago
Earned it, no. He GOT there, but only because he was having sex with a politically connected DC elitist who introduced him to the rest of the group. Trust me, he didn't work his way to be elite. He's not NEARLY wealthy enough.

Agree that is the bigger story. JA has to take ownership as does everyone. People know that. Scapegoating him will not solve it. Maybe he can share some truth with Authorities and his story will help in the end. He needs to turn it around though. He is being complicit in the scapegoat by hiding the whole truth.

I honestly don't know if JA knows the whole truth or any truth for that matter.

You've read my mind. Exactly.
