The former chairman of Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign, John Podesta, has joined The Washington Post as a contributing columnist, the paper announced on Thursday.
Podesta, who also served as chief of staff to President Bill Clinton and a counselor to President Barack Obama, has recently written two op-eds for the Post.
The first, published in December, was about the the FBI's investigation into Russian hacking of the Democratic National Committee. The second, published last week, was about President Donald Trump's penchant for dismissing all criticism of himself as "fake news."
The Post says Podesta's columns "will provide commentary and analysis on the intersection of politics and policy, the Trump administration and the future of the Democratic Party."
“No one knows more about how Washington works, how the White House operates, and how policy ideas are translated into reality than John Podesta,” said Editorial Page Editor Fred Hiatt in a statement. “His long experience in Congress, inside two Democratic White Houses and on the front lines of numerous presidential campaigns, will offer readers vital insight into Washington and politics at the start of a new era.”

Never was great, was created CIA / Mockingbird. "NIXON" supposed take-down was a fraud. It was for the Bushes.. WaPo covered from the JFK onward. Assholes.. Their children all know it and have to be afraid that how ugly their family is, will all come out. " 'Cause they put on such an "OSS" "Oh So Social" veneer of politeness and cultured society. All bullshit. They are gangsters / pirates.

I don't even believe they reported Watergate correctly even back then.

WaPo also promoted the Fake Modern Art Market / [money laundering] Psy- Op for the CIA
remedy4reality ago
you are 100% correct, bopper.
Watergate was all about tricking Nixon into implicating himself and resigning, because he was snooping around the Bay of Pigs and the JFK assassination, and asking for intel from the CIA and FBI. It was HW Bush that Nixon trusted most ( totally left out of history ) and it was his advice to Nixon that led to his downfall. Russ Baker covers it ostensibly in his book 'Family of Secrets'.

HW Bush sold him out. Where was H.W. when JFK was assasinated. Oh that is right there are pictures and release classified doc. that say a CIA agent named George working that day.
JFK jr. stated he would work to tell the story. Let's see he started a random magazine and named it "GEORGE"
Sad his plane crashed suddenly with his wife and trusted confidant inside. He was a great pilot. Weird how the crash happened? Wonder if anyone knows why he called his magazine "GEORGE"

Nixon's mentor was Prescott Bush. Nixon was in Dallas , as they all were, on the day of the Kennedy event. I don't know why they wanted to take Nixon down, but they did.. Maybe they needed to give a perk to G. Ford for biasing the evidence on the Autopsy for the conspirators [he was on the "Warren Commission" ].
The Nixon take - down was staged; as so much is.

Wouldn't be surprised.

Yes, I read that book! Everybody needs to read that book, it is fantastic, one reason is because it is so well documented. More info can be obtained through Roger Stone, Nixon buddy. Watergate was a coup. Those Bush's be really screwed up people.
I found out about the Houston Saudi palace where the Bush's met w/ Saudis from that book. I'm still trying to go look at it, it's near me. It is near the home of the Houston socialite played by Julia Roberts in the spook film Charlie Wilson's War, and also near Bush's present Houston residence, which is near his very old residence, identified in Baker's book.

He was sued for Libel and won, I believe.

Haha, that would be great. Want to read Plausible Denial by Mark Lane also. (Same thing happened to him when he took Hunt to trial.)
"In 1978, when a small magazine ran a story by CIA renegade Victor Marchetti linking ex-CIA operative and convicted Watergate burglar E. Howard Hunt to the assassination, Hunt sued for defamation. Lane signed on as defense counsel for the publication, and set out to prove the truth of the allegations against Hunt and the CIA. Lane’s investigation uncovered a web of conspiracy that involved anti-Castro Cubans, Watergate conspirators, and public officials at the highest levels of the intelligence community. The forewoman of the jury, Leslie Armstrong, stated that “Mr. Lane was asking us to do something very difficult. He was asking us to believe that John Kennedy had been killed by our own government. Yet when we examined the evidence, we were compelled to conclude that the CIA had indeed killed President Kennedy.”
Sorry, I can be quite verbose about this stuff :)

Yes! (And my wife too :)
Not to start another round of verbosity (from me) but ... I guess you know about Roger Craig? Another American hero.

Roger Craig: ' Lt. Day inspected the rifle briefly, then handed it to Capt. Fritz who had a puzzled look on his face. Seymour Weitzman, a deputy constable, was standing beside me at the time. Weitzman was an expert on weapons. He had been in the sporting goods business for many years and was familiar with all domestic and foreign weapons. Capt. Fritz asked if anyone knew what kind of rifle it was. Weitzman asked to see it. After a close examination (much longer than Fritz or Day's examination) Weitzman declared that it was a 7.65 German Mauser. Fritz agreed with him. '
