Nice find. Totally familiar with this as a film nerd. Kubrick had definitely knew of inner-workings.

Same here, total film geek myself, this scene was the first thing I thought of when Comet Ping Pong/Pizzagate info dropped back in November. Kubrick's movies are like a Pynchon or James Joyce novel, lots of bread crumbs and rabbit holes, still find it amazing that "Eyes Wide Shut" ever saw the light of day. Definitely brings new meaning to Quilty/Sellers' line, "Let's have a game, a little lovely game of Roman ping pong, like two civilized senators."
