I grew up on SVU, Unsolved Mysterious & Lifetime. Of course nana or mom had the remote... and so I had the fear of god instilled in me & that at all times I must protect myself. But now people these days see TV as just that exactly, TV and fictional. Luckily it influenced me differently. I had more of an understanding of the world, because why would they make a show about it while claiming they are based on real events. I mean there is only a disclaimer in the beginning of the show. This shit was given to us for a reason. Yea maybe to pass time but to also keep us on our toes while at home.
