ICYMI: Alexander Acosta is the prosecutor that gave Jeffrey Epstein 13 months of house arrest for running pedo island. It has been discussed here, and some are nervous. I think it's a good thing.
In 2011, The Daily Beast published this article (archive link), including a letter from Acosta describing how he arrived to the decision. He claims he and his team were under undue pressure from Epstein's lawyers, Alan Dershowitz, Kenneth Starr, and Roy Black. Also that new evidence and more victims coming forward would've changed his mind.
Whether this guy acted in an understandable way, or is a spineless douche, he seems to regret the outcome.
Either way, he knows a lot about the case, and Trump wants him on his cabinet.
The Democrats have made a point of throwing a histrionic tissy for each cabinet pick, don't let them stop now. Let all the details about the Lolita Express and Sex Slave Island come to light!
Take to social media and demand why someone so deplorable got off so easy, and why does Trump want him in his cabinet? LARP if you have to, "Uncontrollable Trump is at it again! Wants a pedo defender on his team."
With lefties and MSM suddenly concerned about pedophiles re: Milo, let's grab them by the pussy and remind them one of their heros takes money and flights with a renowned pedo. Use their stonewalling to our favor.

I'm still on the fence about DTJ, and one of the main reasons for not being a full on supporter is his connection to Epstein. The general consensus, that I've seen anyways, is that they were only loosely affiliated and that Trump cut ties as soon as all the allegations broke out. That's great and all, but a look at that "little black book" shows Trump (and even his wife at the time and Ivanka) featured pretty prominently . Not to mention a quote from Trump stating that he's known Epstein for years, he's a great guy, and he like younger women as much as he does. The last part seems innocuous enough, but given the fact that Epstein was later convicted as a sexual predator makes it seem a little ominous. If Trump is as brilliant of a tactician as many claim he is, it doesn't seem too far-fetched to think he could effectively divert and whitewash his ties with Epstein. Not saying Trump is guilty but I think this connection could be explored and looked upon with a little more scrutiny.
