This is KEY to understanding their mindset, as well as the scope of many smaller "cells" of independent pedo families. It is a sick delusion they must hold on to live in continual denial. It results in near mental disability. They have nothing left but to cling to perverted childhood securities, which themselves are often the output or results of abuse (tremendous endorphin releases, relational validation through spouses etc.).
In the end, child abuse is often seen as the solution to it's own problem (subconciously), and is generally the pervue of those who have experienced tremendous trauma when younger, which stifles emotional and intellectual growth. Hence the pedofile sees children as their peers (which is why they seek to compete/dominate/have relationships with them).
The essence of this is that: Pedofiles are perverted children seeking to manage or solve their own unaddressed crisis/trauma. It's a sick madness which I'm not sure can be significantly helped or cured absent of massive psychological or spiritual transformation.
I appreciate your comment but want to add something that I believe is very important and I haven't seen mentioned once, and that is that research shows that about 50% of child molesters were NOT victims of childhood sexual abuse
Understood, but also see "sexual". Actual sexual abuse is just one of the forms the frustrated spirit inhabiting the abusers form seeks to gain dominance over, and expression of their frustration through, a child would manifest itself in. It could also be physical, emotional, or spiritual. Maybe there is some other factor that triggers the sexual aspect?
Pedo's/abusers are VERY weak minded people. In fact probably the frustration of the man could be linked to his cultural repression, and the repression of the healthy male mind, which has perhaps lead to increases in this behaviors in recent decades. Perhaps their constant manipulation is also a source of severe frustration?
If you understand their minds, you can track them better. Be the hunter.
