This is so disgustingly sick. I studied psychology at Uni and they put so much emphasis on "false memories" and how as a psychologist you would be more likely to encounter "false memories" in self proclaimed abuse victims and therefore to be skeptical of every claim of abuse that is presented to you . It's set up so victims are made to feel like they're the ones to blame and that they're insane in order for them to be exploited through psychiatrists and psychologists who just drain cash from them through falsely diagnosing them. Revolting

And the guy who created "false memory syndrome" was only an accused pedo- that was the ONLY psychological "qualification" he had - yet he and their foundation are STILL widely respected and cited. Total bullshit.

".[1] Peter J. Freyd originated the term,[2] which the False Memory Syndrome Foundation (FMSF) subsequently popularized. "
"Peter J. Freyd (born February 5, 1936, in Evanston, Illinois)[1] is an American mathematician, a professor at the University of Pennsylvania, known for work in category theory and for founding the False Memory Syndrome Foundation.
ZERO PSYCHOLOGICAL QUALIFICATION. CREATED A WIDELY CITED "SYNDROME" STILL USED TO THIS DAY.

Yes, I had an argument with my teacher back in the day, cuz our book had just half a page on SRA, claiming it was completely untrue, and all victims are lying
