It's a joke. It's funny. Silverman has some ideas that are weird, but that's a joke. Some kid probably grabbed her butt at a BBQ and she thought of some funny shit.

Seriously, this is stupid. Get some real evidence.

If this is to be taken seriously, then it's like saying every time someone gets taken out of context we've gotta take that seriously too.

Yeah, maybe your friends don't joke like that. Well they aren't comedians. Probably not pushing the envelope and occasionally pissing people off.

Good to know at least some people here are sane. People here seem to forget that there is such thing as artistic license and black humour.

The joke wasn't funny, but that doesn't mean it wasn't a joke.

75% of the people here are hysterical morons. Fortunately that doesn't mean they can't make useful connections... oddly enough it might even help.

And are we forgetting that around this time Mary K. Letourneau was getting married and having kids with her victim? So, yes, comedians made jokes about this type of stuff.

Sometimes I wonder how the obvious nonsense gets propped up. Like both sides of the debate have a slew of illogical people that circulate the same bullshit which makes their side look absurd to the other.

edit: let's distill this down and identify the core problem:

In order to matter, claims about the nature of reality MUST be supported by evidence. Claims are not evidence. What someone says is not evidence of what's claimed. It's only evidence that it was claimed.
