Hitherto I'd gained a grudging acceptance to the activity of the mods here. I thought at least the deleted submissions were archived and discussions could remain active. (Of course, hardly anyone goes there; they are difficult to navigate; they are not searchable.)

Today I learned they don't go back very far, about 8 days. If you go to the following link, there is a Next button, however if you click on it you get the Voat not found screen.

Again, mods are discussing this right now. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will address this issue in the next open thread, and hopefully have a solution. This is a Voat issue, not subverse-specific. I'm bringing up the idea to archive the link once a week. Thanks!

This is a big problem for transparency, deleted or not, all content should be considered a candidate for backup/archiving; we have to be held accountable across a much longer period of time than 8 days.

Yes, agree. I've committed to archiving the deleted submissions link twice a week, so you can check archive.is if you're looking for something specific. Talking to the mods about getting a link to the archive in the sticky.
