I agree that this is a possibility. I am only adding to that sentiment in that I see this as somewhat encouraging either way.
Either bigger names are getting in against trafficking in earnest, bringing exposure and resources to a serious issue. OR they are trying to get out in front of the issue and will use people (not working in earnest) to try to subvert good peoples efforts.
If it is the first possibility, Awesome! now we have more exposure and resources. If it is the second option, they are attempting a very weak strategical move with many points of potential failure, also a good sign for people on the side of justice.
