Crowed source investigations FTW. I see a great deal of potential.... I think there needs to be some framework written up so folks can hop in and fill a role quick. I like Voat so far for this. I think it's great for organizing. I think no one can do it all, but when we all do a little it adds up. There are some loosely definable roles that we all can take. Specializing makes this powerful. As individuals we can specialize but get nowhere, some of us need to focus on promoting material, others digging for leads, others single scope investigation of those leads, others broad analysis of the many single scope investigations to discover more leads, and determine new directions of inquiry. I mean really, we are privatizing many aspects of an FBI operation, plus fighting the crooked media. A lot going on here.

In my humble opinion, a centralization of the crowd sourced investigation will always fail in the end. Our power comes from the inability of our enemies to chop off our head. Imagine a bear fighting a swarm of honey bees. The bees stand a chance because the bear has no target. By centralizing our efforts with organizational leadership, we give the bear something to attack. Sure, it feels clumsy and chaotic to fight these guys as we are. But it's the only way that the bees can defeat the bear.

the bees are way more organized than we are actually lol but I get your point.
