https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qaV-TDhMvRI I contacted a mom of a local missing child after the dark web hack thinking there might be some info that could help. She got me in touch with this PI. She is a complete bad ass. Taking on the Houston cops and calling them out for corruption and their heartless greed. 8000 children in Houston alone go missing and that doesn't count the foster kids no one is looking for. She talks about cps involvement in "losing" kids. Heartbreaking stories from parents. This evil is so rampant.

HPD is a strange organization. The rank and file officers are generally pretty cool and honest, but it is corrupt at the top. Generally because Houston has Progressive mayors due to the city center's voting power...couple this with Texas CPS being corrupt and that is where the problems lay.
Here is a fascinating story about a dude enslaving young boys that eventually revolted and killed him...the mansion was creepy...very large with a bowling alley and huge open area in the center, basically a mirror image with the bedrooms on the ends. Seabrook is also kinda strange...lots of prohibition era speak easy's at the time due to the port which then evolved to a seedy biker hangout, and is now a touristy hot-spot with roller coasters and shit.... http://www.travelerstoday.com/articles/9626/20140425/bill-list-todville-mansion-photos-decades-old-murder-seabrook-texas.htm

I used to see that house when I lived in LaPorte and would boat off Sylvan Beach. Always wondered about it. Going to look into more. Thanks.

I went into it twice before it was bulldozed...it was a rite of passage to get into it and explore it without the cops busting you...it had a REALLY dark feel to it. You could literally feel that some bad shit had happened there. La Porte? You and I are rivals and that's all I'm going to say about that! And let's hear it for Moses Lake!

LaPorte was a short stint. I've spent the majority of my life on the north side outside of Houston.

Ahhh..got ya...I'm a South side boy, but I did live in Spring for 7 years...did you ever eat at Neptune Subs or SW Tookie's?

Loved them both. Lived in League City for a while. Loved it there. Personally I think Kemah was better before it went commercial.

Yeah, Kemah had flavor back then...I'll go old school on you...I knew the original owners of Jerry's Pier 8 and Rachel's...they were characters. Jerry was Rachel's daughter and died young from pancreatic cancer. Rachel's was one of the speak easy's during Prohibition I mentioned. I kid you not, she drank a case of Pearl light A DAY until she was in her 70's and made it to 80 years old. Damn flu got her. She probably shouldn't have quit drinking. EDIT: The traffic sucks there now, which makes me avoid the place unless we are going to fish at Moses or eat at Sushi Coast, which is one of the best kept restaurant secrets in the area IMO...
