I'm not sure if all that really happened, the Portuguese Police really botched that investigation. Soros may have bought them off. Plus, what better way than to setup the parents. Not sure, but I believe Gerry McCann, the father
refused to submit DNA to prove he was her biological father. A lot of BS surrounding that case.
I see your point. The other problem is how many parents go to dinner and leave 2 infants and a 5 year old home alone? Yes the restaurant was in the same complex but it doesn't matter the McCann's don't have X-Ray vision to see through walls.
But if Madeleine died of an accidental overdose of cough syrup or shaken baby syndrome then staging an abduction would be a way to cover up Madeleine's death. It's a plausible story, we've even debating it to this day.
