De Voss is not a good thing for the children of this country. Not all of Trumps picks will be good for the children and their parents and grandparents. De Voss has never taught in a classroom. She knows nothing about running a school. I am hoping that Sessions does what we are waiting for. I am willing to give Trump a chance although I did not vote for him, voted third party.If De Voss takes office, I will keep an eye on her and everyone else should too. She will feather the nest of the rich because they all have investments in Charter Schools, including the Clintons. We must protect our children in all ways. Just Sayin'.
I'm one of the people that hopes she is just there to shut the Department down. We have received nothing for all of the $ poured down that particular drain known as the "Department of Education". Return the money to the States, there's no one-size-fits-all solution to this problem, I'd much rather see fifty laboratories of Democracy competing to be the best.
Whether good or bad, she's his choice to be on his cabinet and the person in whom he has confidence to execute his policies.

Agreed - Trump sets the policy, she implements and executes it. I don't think we're going to see any Rogue Cabinet members in this Administration - certainly not any who were confirmed 50/50. They can be removed far too easily.

Yeah, it certainly appears that even Ms. DeVos has 52 votes - Sessions should have far in excess of that, or in a partisan shit-fest exactly that.
It's so fun to observe that stalling of his nomination may be the only thing that gives the (R)s enough votes to get Ms. DeVos through.
