i'm a far left liberal so i am not a Sessions fan at all... However i'm a bit conflicted in hoping that the rumors are true and that he will take action against the pedos
Therein lies the problem that got our country in this message in the first place, loyalty to the party, this cultish mentality, drives the willingness to overlook literally anything, even the most horrific evil crimes against innocent children. To say, "conflicted" with regard to taking action against pedos is pretty fucked up brainwashed view.
And the vast majority (I would guess 60%) of us sit here marooned in the center, represented by neither major party.
As but one example, there are a lot of folks strong on national defense and border security that are also vehemently pro-choice (for, let's say...the first trimester). Due to the binary nature of things and our current environment, no major party will ever be right for them.
it doesn't have to be. I think you are underestimating the size of the center. Look at the election, the only popular candidates were Trump and Bernie, both anti corruption populists and the DNC stole the primary from Bernie, who probably would have beat trump. both parties have a lack credibility with the people.
Oh, I agree that it doesn't have to be that way - but I'm one of those weirdos that really thinks we have one party called Big Government with two wholly owned subsidiaries (RNC and DNC) who just grant the illusion of power "passing back and forth".
There certainly could be one or more parties that represented more Americans core values - but to get there, we have to smash the two-party paradigm. It is one area (out of probably one) where even Dr. Stein and I agree completely.

And that's all by design...sigh
