I did some quick research before posting and found this, thought perhaps it was an ostensibly plausible explanation for the lack of mention of Masonry.
the vatican was infiltrated by the masons and other satanic orders in the last century , especially after 1990 with the help of the KGB. you can´t compare that to 300 year old war between the jesuits and the masons for world domination.. they are one now under the umbrella of the illuminati.

EDIT: Savile being "solitary and unsocial" is pure B.S. He had friends he hung out with, including Prince Charles, Thatcher, lots of policemen.
