Scratchley is also a former Director of Children's Home Society

Every other article I've found, particularly from local papers, said Clinical Director or researcher. Significant difference.

I made a mistake, Schratchely has to do with Seattle Children’s Home. Robart was president of Seattle Children’s Home, not Children's Home Society of Washington. He was however also a Trustee of Children's Home Society of Washington, which Kenneth was a counselor at.

Clinical Director would likely have far more day-to-day contact with the kids, than a Director who's primary responsibilities might be fund raising, fiduciary, PR, operational, legal, etc.

sounds like dailymail is subtly downplaying the seriousness then.

would you care to explain the 'significant difference' between "clinical director" and "director" in reference to Seattle Children's Home. It Isn't obvious searching the difference.

"Director" implies an all-encompassing administrative position of leadership. "Clinical director" implies a leadership position limited in its scope to medical or research responsibilities.

According to the dailymail article he is also Clinical Director of the Matt Talbot Center in Belltown. Different organization.
