What is the ontological status of these gods and demons? Are they, in your Weltanschauung, platonic essences? Useful fictions derived from a merely "natural" subconscious? Immaterial personal beings? "Forces"? I am a big picture kind of guy, so I generally like to interpret a person's intellectual output in light of their choice of first principles.
