He "vows to fight" one article said. I don't think you put your neck out this far and go against something as powerful as the Trump machine unless you have nothing to lose (you're going for broke in other words). He may be a sacrificial lamb, instructed to do this. And of course probably dirty himself. Too bold a move. Maybe he has a gun to his head.
