I see your point of view. That's not my take on it. I think that Stein believes that there is a massive election fraud problem. She thought that Green Party votes were being flipped, keeping Greens below the 5% threshold. She thought votes in general were being tampered with. So she demanded a recount. I supported her effort and hoped it would reveal something.
This is precisely why she supported the re-count if that's what you want to call it. It was an investigation into electoral integrity and transparency, election oversight etc. voter suppression, etc. It is annoying that people on the "right" think she is a puppet of Hillary Clinton, she most certainly is not and was not put up to it by Clinton.
