DCJ is pleased to announce the hire of its new Associate Executive Director. Ashley Biden will join the agency on January 3, 2013. In line with a restructuring of DCJ executive staffing, the Associate Executive Director will be the senior supervisor of all direct service programming at the agency. She will provide oversight to the agency's victim-offender mediation programming, services for victims of crime, and interventions for at-risk youth and adults who are exiting the prison system.
Ashley has worked with the Delaware Department of Services for Children, Youth, and their Families (DSCYF) since 2007. Prior to working with the state, she worked with West End Neighborhood House in Wilmington and the Children's Psychiatry Center of Northwestern Human Services in Philadelphia. Ashley earned her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania and her Bachelor's Degree from Tulane University.
