Alarm bells and sirens exploded in my head when I heard this on the news yesterday "A national adoption agency based in California closed all of its locations Tuesday". http://www.theindychannel.com/news/local-news/hoosier-families-looking-for-answers-after-adoption-agency-suddenly-closes-for-good

I saw this a few days ago and started digging. I didn't come up with anything. I found some older reviews that said they were pretty much a scam - they would take your admin fees but not place a child with you. They were one of the largest adoption agencies that specialized in adopting to the LGBTQ community. http://archive.is/6DKTl
