If Podesta, Alefantis etc. are innocent, maybe they should try explaining "misunderstandings", instead of just shouting "FAKE NEWS".

It's the same reason why The clintons never sued anyone who made claims of sexual assault against bill or claims that Hillary is extremely ill- because the truth would come out in court!
