Especially knowing how the media already does its damnest to make PG look fake? The only real world reason for him to move on to aliens - again assuming it's true - is actually something he alluded to.
Basically, he's claiming pizzagate is a done deal. Arrests and disclosure any minute according to his sources. So he's moved on to the next issue - he claims to investigate things before they enter the regular news cycle.
So he won't cover pizzagate anymore because it's days away from entering the major news cycle.
But this implies that he has a legit source about aliens.
Coupled with the recent FBIAnon, I'd say that if PG doesn't break next week, the we have a real mess on our hands.
