Thread was heavily shilled by ctr on GLP. Anyone live by rock port that can grab the laptop it has every fucking bit of treason on it. Able to put hundreds away and have them hung without a trial.
I have personal knowledge that the very first foreign service officer test for members of the public has an extensive (maybe an hour) section to prove written English skills. This fuckkng loser would have failed badly. I expect a typical stoner idiot would have more fun dreaming up this larp than proofreading
I have mixed feelings. But what you're saying means nothing, they may have to 'pass' on English but then you can get sloppy as you want, plus he was in a big hurry.
I'm a writer and once you know all the rules of grammar you're free to break them - so long as you keep the reader engaged - the maxim is "write like you talk."
And now it's down to one-word paragraphs just to try and hold the reader's attention in this faceless digital age.
Spelling errors man. They'll make you correct comment placements etc too. You think those ingrained habits are dropped in "casual" typing? Get real. I saw a guy today on this very sub say "..to ferment uprisings." Govt workers do nothing but read and write brief professional memos all day and almost certainly write better, as they come from the educated class.
