I know it is so so sickening; after 47 + years of suffering I finally revealed to my family a week ago I had suffered abuse at the hands of an uncle who had forced me to keep silent by threatening to do the same to my baby sister whom I loved more than anything and who was only three at the time if I ever told anyone. I know first hand the life long consequences of sexual abuse and if I can save one child that trauma I will go to my grave with a sense of redemption. This shit must stop.
Just want to say I'm sorry, even though that's worth nothing at all. I have three beautiful children who I've stood vigilently over to keep such things from happening to them. I was never raped, but harassed, exposed to, and un welcometouched around twelve. I will murder anyone who presumes to even look at my children wrong. All these fuckers deserve to roast slowly over a fire.
I think there are some but they're not obvious as we tend to keep fairly quiet. I feel like so many parents are worried about all the wrong things~ obsessive over things that wont ever hurt a child in the long run. But completely unaware of these types of things. Do you follow pizzagate? There was this one guy we found through the cpp connection, who was taking pictures of girl's hair and masturbating to them later. There was this one picture that he took where the mom looked like she was about to murder the guy, and he posted it and said, "That's right mom, I'm gonna jack off to your little girl's hair later and there's nothing you can do about it." God help me, if someone ever takes a picture of my kids that looks like a creep. I wont be allowing them to leave with the camera/phone/whatever. That woman should have smacked his phone out of his hand and demanded whoever was around to help her delete whatever was on it. I've also stopped posting pictures of my kids on social media even though my profile is private.
