These traits equate more to communism than capitalism. Their civilization continues (albeit damaged) 60 000 years on. They made bread 30000 years ago (twice as long ago as the egyptians) and their tribal intermarriage system and corrobboree sharing of excess capital practices resulted in 300 nations having the most minimal of warfare vis-a-vi other civilizations. Their value of caring for the environment made them a sustainable society not prone to exploitationism (from which resource wars spring)

They never gravitated to the iron age, but did not need to to live in comfort and surplus. Their technology level was no indication of their complexity, and it was common for an Aboriginal to speak over five languages

That's neat. I know more about the Maori (which is next to nothing!), as I have family in New Zealand.
