Just for the record, as a progressive, I totally disavow David Brock and his propagandist, lying, thieving, grotesque band of thugs and pedophiles. The "progressive" movement has nothing to do with him, though he is clearly trying to co-opt the word. He is a menace to all that is good about humanity! progressive is advancing the causes and liberties of the disadvantaged and marginalised. Which is noble in origin, but at what point does liberty become depravity, and at what point does the Western Civilization baby get thrown out with the regressive bathwater
Please. Who Really Gives or whAtever is an entire book documenting how conservatives give vastly more of their personal time nd money to disadvantAged people. Like say set up a college fund for black students to succeed at nonelite universities whereas the state prefers they fail at newly diverse elite ones. Go fuck yourself.
