This may be old news, but we should remember that Sessions is the one who introduced the Victims of Child Abuse Reauthorization Act, S. 1799 back in 2014. He had this to say (referenced Here):

There is no higher duty than protecting our nation’s children, and this bill is an important step to ensure the most vulnerable children receive the care and support they deserve

Nope, just the same rumblings everyone else has heard. Although Seymour Hersch mentioned Signal in a recent interview with Jeremy Scahill, and they're reputable journalists.

I would start by looking at the EFF scorecard, and going from there.
