This may be old news, but we should remember that Sessions is the one who introduced the Victims of Child Abuse Reauthorization Act, S. 1799 back in 2014. He had this to say (referenced Here):

Everyone in DC has people they want thrown under the bus before others. A Sessions investigation will bust the Clintons, but likely protect establishment Republicans (or expose them to his own blackmail). The top echelon will never be busted from within.
That's why I won't trust anyone besides Julian Assange/Ed Snowden/Glenn Greenwald to conduct an exhaustive and non-partisan inquiry.

If we're lucky, Trump has had a "Buddha under the fig tree" moment, has become a bodhisattva, and is in this purely for what we would interpret as his legacy. A top-to-bottom, 3D chess rout of the parasites.
But the chances of that happening, given his cabinet picks for banking/education/environment, are slim I'd say.

Anything short of a complete overhaul of the entire system and massive prosecutions and imprisonment will be the worst missed opportunity in the history of mankind. That is no understatement. The long history of the privileged escaping justice for their crimes has created this monster that enslaves all of us.
