This is not that uncommon, relax. So what if there's a number of votes down? Don't let it deter you, that's the whole point. Just roll with it, make a little effort to vote up against it (there are dozens of you and the lousy bot can only manage a few votes down per post). Whinging is not going to solve anything you n00bs.
I have surfed Steemit occasionally and there is good stuff there, but...here is my big reservation for moving the main PG investigation over to there...
Members can upvote posts and comments, and the authors who get upvoted can receive a monetary reward in a cryptocurrency token named STEEM and US dollar-pegged tokens called Steem Dollars. People are also rewarded for curating popular content. Curating involves upvoting submissions and comments
There are already enough troll / shill problems here, yet still managable. Toss in a financial incentive and then things become very unpredictable
This seems to happen when a shill army arrives, I've seen it the whole time I've been here (since the great r/pizzagate exodus). Maybe I'm wrong, and of course we should stay vigilant. While an even 5 each time is weird, still doesn't seem new to me.
Also, sometimes people get down voted because others think the post is shit. Remember down votes can be genuine. I think stating that down votes must be shills can sometime be a mole tactic; someone will post disinfo then go, "Oh, I'm getting down voted, shills are here! Be sure to up vote me to counter it!"
That's a nice graphic, and I'm not talking about you. I upvoted it :)
Well glad to hear you all are discussing it at least. I might like to see utilizing the blockchain and other crypto security measures. But all of that tech stuff is way above my pay grade, lol
Can I suggest something? How about a group of programmers / coders / devs set up an alternative site? Unfortunately I don't have any of those skills but surely there are some among us here who do. And the rest of us can crowdfund the efforts
EDIT: to add - Has anyone thought about modeling soe of this on how Anonymous fought Scientology? They made a safe home base and dug in. www.whyweprotest.org
I got blasted by the down voat cannons and consider it encouragement if someone is wasting so much effort on each little drip. Don't worry about the drips, watch out for the flood when the ceiling breaks. To the doomsday bunkers! Go away!
this had been happening for at least 3 days. someone's either paying or working hard to d/v everything. v/all is full of d/v, as it has been for at least 3 days. there's some fuckery going on, but i don't think it's related to the post from today.

This post breaks rules 1 and 4, and will be deleted. It should have been deleted already. repost this to v/pizzagatemods or v/protectvoat

Yes, a few of us are experiencing the same. Personally I think voat is comprimised. But hey people think I'm a shill so my point doesn't matter.
When u start to get em's (error messages) like this https://m.imgur.com/a/tQe1Y u know you have stumbled across something pertanent.

What date was this infographtaken - none of these submission are from today as far as I can tell.
Why are you asking mods if Voat is compromisted - it it is, then they would be compromised right?
IT says "submitted 1 month ago by Millennial_Falcon" at the top of the infographic.

What are the names of those who took over? Or where would I go to find that info?

more likely it is David Brock's new pet disinfo project
he shut down Correct the Record CTR shortly after the election

If making an alternative voat isn't possible, can I suggest we go over to https://steemit.com/created/pizzagate ? For now it seems safe.

Yeah! and lets take all the CTR and CIA with us - so we can continue this fabulous party just the way it is.
OrwellKnew ago
Well of course they will follow, unfortunately. But that is what a guerrilla campaign does, keep on hitting and moving

a guerrilla campaign?

Didn't someone set up an alternative site a couple of weeks ago?
OrwellKnew ago
That would be news to me. Welcomed news, to be sure. But I had not heard anything about it :/
Having said that, maybe it should be kept quiet for now. Just to have a full, functional website ready to go for if/when this place gets shut down
dickface8 ago
Exactly, it couldn't be that hard to set up a message board/forum type thing could it?

After 9:00 every single post has at least 5 downvote. Now no downvotes and it's passed 12.
