Actually if you think about it, the CIA says Russia hacked the elections over US media, then while everyone is wondering if assange is alive they fake an interview where he calls bullshit on the Russia hacking thing. Okay most of us know it's bullshit anyway, and assange has said it before. So why not as the CIA make an assange video stating the CIA is full of shit Russia didn't do it, as a sort of proof of life. Mind fuck people into believing it's assange because if it was the CIA they wouldn't have said that. The trust in Wikileaks when compromised by the CIA would be much more valuable to them than some bs talking point about Russia, and it also serves their propaganda efforts as we have seen.
