Sorry - OP does not know much about stem cells.

Embryonic stem cells are harvested from aborted babies. There is no ban on research. Bush stopped federal funding of research using embryonic stem cells but Obama started that funding back again. Embryonic stem cell treatments have essentially been a dead end.

Everyone has adult or somatic stem cells. Research and treatments are much more effective using your own somatic stem cells. Stem cells can be harvested from you and every living person, don't need to steal kids for this.

You're incorrect... I actually know a fair bit.

Also - I was on NPR yesterday asking about the legalities of stemcell production of ones own stem cells and how you can do self-testing...

It was confirmed that if you can harvest your OWN stem-cells, there is nothing legally precluding you from testing them on yourself.

A person I know at UCSF has been developing a system to determine which proteins fed to stem cells (SCs) will result in the cells presenting certain tissues.

I.E. they createdd a tiny matrix of tubes that will allow you to pump in various proteins to these pockets of SCs to see which proteins result in the presentation of tissue / cell-type X.

They 3D print the grid matrix for the proteins and then coded a custom delivery mech in python....

This was in 2011.......

How many hospitals have you been directly involved in their building? Me: 10.

You just confirmed everything I said. Each person is their own best source of somatic stem cells for therapy. And in addition there are 1 million babies aborted each year all of which embryonic stem cells can be harvested. The hypothesis presented is that children are stolen for stem cells. So you are saying out of all the sources of stem cells (320 million people in the US and a million babies in Planned Parenthood dumpsters), kids are kidnapped to sell their stem cells. Sorry, doesn't pass the sniff test. Out of all the things kids are stolen for this adds a splash of crazy to the board. It's like saying I go through everyone's mailbox to steal their junk mail and cut out the letter "e".

You're awesome, the hypothesis is just not logical.

I like your analogy though :-)
