So the family would be compensated for what? The expense of having kept their own daughter fed? That isn't normal, if you're helping someone's kid get an education and a 'better life' is it? That sounds more like a dispassionate, well I've invested a lot in this, so if I'm not going to make money from rentals then if you want it you'll have to compensate me for lost earnings. Or am I misreading somehow? Also the Skull and Bones reference at the bottom of H's initial email is creepy - perhaps that's how they signify that this email pertains to 'other business'? Does 322 appear anywhere else in the emails?
A French publishing house pays her parents for that stuff and she apparently didn't get any of it, hence HRCs message, which I believe could have been placed to later be used as diversionary when her emails were inevitably released. There are a number of flattering news stories about her compassion shown in this email.
Of course this is how she got huma, right out of college
