So the little girl really is named Caris. No confirmation that she is named "Caris James." The alleged mother is Corey Woolman, a Harvard graduate who used to work for Comet Ping Pong and the father's name is Scott (Scott Cummings?). It's possible this is really James Alefantis's goddaughter. People on Facebook are asking for proof of life of Caris. I would not be shocked if the parents are just being protective, or not speaking to him right now.

If so, explains how he could be close enough to let James Alefantis be the godfather of his child. Is Caris James a hashtag of their two names and that's all it is?
