His website http://charliehallowell.com/blog/ has some creepy imagery. What is "Analog Food Conspiracy" even supposed to mean? A triangle with an eye, "Drag Brunch", a Cock ("11 years of love and subversion"), "Tacos Oscar", animal heads. The Boot and Shoe website linked to his blog with the message "Check out Charlie's rants here!", but on his blog page, nothing resembling a rant can be seen.
Oakland might be another Washington D.C.
Compare:
Comet Ping Pong = Pizzaiolo
Buck's Fishing and Camping = Boot and Shoe Service
Politics and Prose = Penrose or Walden Pond Books
Transformer Gallery = Interface Gallery
Penrose is right across the street from Boot and Shoe Service. I can see a mural of giant blue heads on the wall. On the other side, a boarded up shop with no store listed from Google Maps has graffiti in yellow and black, conspicuously containing the letters CP not once, but twice.
On Telegraph Avenue, there do seem to be a few oddities. I can't see a sign for Pizzaiolo from the street (Only Dutch Boy Paint). It's near Sagrada Sacred Arts. The building between Pizzaiolo and Asmara seems to be empty. Ruby's Garden, a "hip children's clothing store", is also creepy.
Of course, all of this could just be coincidental. I do think that this is worth investigating, however.

Analog food conspiracy = Cannibalism
I've already come across him in my research, you should also look into the Center for Creative Growth. You will start to see a pattern of galleries and restaurants emerge across the country. They are absolutely everywhere. In America, the code words "Folk Art" or "Visionary Art" or "African American Vernacular Art". In Europe the code is "Art Brut" or "Outsider Art".
He is directly connected to James Alefantis through the art gallery. Seriously, both are known to Alice Waters and they are connected through her. The galleries are possibly MK Ultra operations to experiment forms of trauma/cover up former abusers, as is the case with some of artists at these galleries making florid art with masonic imagery. I have actually found evidence that these galleries are closely associated with a secret cult who induce mind control and DiD.
Even weirder is that in some of the galleries, like in London's Outsider Art galleries, some of the resident artists are the children of famous/wealthy families, but it's summarily overlooked that they have severe mental trauma and that they just happen to be the heirs of major corporate estates (http://www.outsiderart.co.uk/mckesson.html))

What is your source for the art gallery claim? I remember seeing this before and l looked into it. Found some strange art, but nothing worthy to post. But I don't sense that you are bullshitting. I remember reading about after parties and silent auctions. Can you elaborate?
