Wikileaks even retweeted a Reddit thread.

In that retweet it says "Wikileaks emails dating back till at least 2001 have been found in her archives" https://twitter.com/wikileaks/status/794247777756860417?lang=en

Wouldn't Wikileaks correct the date if it was wrong?

WIkileaks provides undoctored data. If the data have errors, such as a time-stamped date, Wikileaks is not going to change or fix the error. That is kind of like expecting Wikileaks to fix typos or syntax errors in communications. They are a conduit. The evidence seems pretty clear that she set up this whole "orphanage" scheme in 2009-2010. The 01/01/01 date is a giveaway that it was a computer clock reset error.
